Is this model made out of recycled fish line?
Our CHASM model is not made out of recycled fly-line just yet, as we are building out the logistics and supply-chain to upcycle the materials we have collected into future products. Our frames and lenses are made from bio-based plastics to offer a more environmentally friendly alternative to the premium optics available on the market while our packaging has been designed to be recyclable and low impact. We're actively working to integrate recycled fishing line into future gear.
What is the difference between Morning Rise & Trout Belly Flash
Both Morning Rise and Trout Belly Flash share the same light amber base tint, which enhances contrast and makes it easier to track fish and read the water. The difference is in the lens finish: Morning Rise: a clean amber lens without a mirror finish — ideal if you prefer a more subtle look and direct amber view. Trout Belly Flash: the same amber lens topped with a special yet subtle mirror coating without obstructing and altering the natural amber view beneath. Both lenses deliver identical core optics, it mainly comes down to whether you want a non-mirrored or mirrored style on the water.
How should I clean my Marble sunglasses?
If you smudge your lenses after inhaling a dozen chicken wings, use the included rPET cloth with mild soap and water. When on the river and in the wild, make sure to blow off any dust or debris prior to cleaning. Although our lenses are drop-tested, scratch tested and very durable, micro abrasions are still possible and most common when wiping your lenses with a piece of sand or small rock trapped. Treat your gear well. Don't lose your marbles.
Can I use my Marbles in saltwater?
Does a brown trout eat a midge? Yes. You can use your Marbles on the ocean - just take extra care of the salt. Marble CHASM was designed with in-land fishing in mind. Whenever fishing salty environments, try to clean your shades after getting to land as prolonged exposure to salt may damage your frames and lenses.
What’s the best way to store my Marbles?
Whenever you wear your Marbles we recommend putting the micro fiber pouch in a pocket. When transiting on long trips and expeditions, throw them in the provided tube and into your duffle or bag. Try to avoid leaving them in extremely hot conditions (ex: ovens, the sun, air-fryers etc.)
How do I prevent lens fogging?
Trick question, you don't need to. Marble lenses have been carefully crafted by Zeiss to ensure fogging is minimal. No one wants to fish in 360p.
