Marble’s founder is textbook “fishy.” Born into a long line of Irish-Newfoundlanders who arrived on fishing boats and spent their lives chasing cod off the coast, he grew up spending summers casting dry flies for Newfoundland brook trout and chasing anything that swam in the Laurentian lakes of Quebec. Safe to say, the obsession runs deep.

But it was the border waters of Québec, Vermont, and upstate New York that gave life to Marble Fishing. Long days spent hunting for the “trophy brown trout” that kept getting away turned into a lifelong respect for rivers and the life they hold.

That connection shaped a purpose: to build a brand rooted in clarity, conservation, and design. Not just technical fly fishing gear, but a tool for positive change in an industry long overdue for it.
