Marble Eyewear bridges premium optical performance and sustainable design for anglers. With ZEISS polarized lenses and ultra-light bio-based frames, CHASM is purpose-built to cut glare, sharpen contrast, help you spot fish and read currents in changing light (without added weight). Field tested on 20+ rivers by fly anglers and guides across North America, these sunglasses deliver the clarity, comfort, and secure fit serious fly fishing demands. Each pair supports Marble’s mission to reduce fly fishing waste and protect the waters our sport relies on. CHASM is not yet made from recycled fly line; it exists to accelerate our line recycling network that should power future circular eyewear and gear for our sport. This is more than polarized fishing sunglasses. It is a commitment to clean water, a step toward a circular future, and a piece of gear you will trust on and off the river.
"Price-to-quality is unreal, they’re genuinely the first pair of fishing glasses I’ve actually cared to protect. I also got hit by a massive streamer in the eye and I lived to tell the tale with both eyes intact and no scratch on the lenses ... super rad."
Fly Angler, Outdoor Filmmaker (Hook & Anvil)
“Already recommended them to other anglers. I love that the company recycles fly-line. The Zeiss lenses are top-notch in low light and the performance keeps surprising me.”
Angler, Guide, Show host
“The construction feels rock solid. The frames hug your face, block glare from the sides, and stay in place even while moving. Very legit performance.”
Outdoor Adventurer and Wild Food Creator
“Really light frames, and overall solid on-water performance. Impressive for a new brand.”
Fly Angler and Hunter
“The lenses I field-tested exceeded my expectations - great visibility, full sun protection, and a wrap design that cuts glare better than pricier brands I’ve used. Very impressed.”
Fly Angler & Guide
“Super comfortable even after hours on the water. The curve of the arms made them feel snug without side pressure. I think are great for guides putting in long hours on the river.”
Artist, Fly Angler
“I used them a fair amount and they still look new. Super clear on the water, great for sight fishing. I found them pretty lightweight and no pressure on the nose or ears, which was nice.”
Guide & Competition Angler
Every pair of Chasm sunglasses comes packaged with intention. The custom tube, designed by artist Sarah Landström, pays homage to the fly rod cases we’ve carried for generations. It’s a functional keepsake — while also built easy to recycle if you already have a hard shell you love.
Inside, you’ll find a pouch and cleaning cloth made from rPET (recycled bottles), created in partnership with Keep Fish Wet. Printed directly on the cloth are the steps for better catch-and-release fishing — a reminder that keeping your gear clean and keeping fish wet go hand in hand.
Our CHASM model is not made out of recycled fly-line just yet, as we are building out the logistics and supply-chain to upcycle the materials we have collected into future products. Our frames and lenses are made from bio-based plastics to offer a more environmentally friendly alternative to the premium optics available on the market while our packaging has been designed to be recyclable and low impact. We're actively working to integrate recycled fishing line into future gear.
Both Morning Rise and Trout Belly Flash share the same light amber base tint, which enhances contrast and makes it easier to track fish and read the water. The difference is in the lens finish: Morning Rise: a clean amber lens without a mirror finish — ideal if you prefer a more subtle look and direct amber view. Trout Belly Flash: the same amber lens topped with a special yet subtle mirror coating without obstructing and altering the natural amber view beneath. Both lenses deliver identical core optics, it mainly comes down to whether you want a non-mirrored or mirrored style on the water.
If you smudge your lenses after inhaling a dozen chicken wings, use the included rPET cloth with mild soap and water. When on the river and in the wild, make sure to blow off any dust or debris prior to cleaning. Although our lenses are drop-tested, scratch tested and very durable, micro abrasions are still possible and most common when wiping your lenses with a piece of sand or small rock trapped. Treat your gear well. Don't lose your marbles.
Does a brown trout eat a midge? Yes. You can use your Marbles on the ocean - just take extra care of the salt. Marble CHASM was designed with in-land fishing in mind. Whenever fishing salty environments, try to clean your shades after getting to land as prolonged exposure to salt may damage your frames and lenses.
Whenever you wear your Marbles we recommend putting the micro fiber pouch in a pocket. When transiting on long trips and expeditions, throw them in the provided tube and into your duffle or bag. Try to avoid leaving them in extremely hot conditions (ex: ovens, the sun, air-fryers etc.)
Trick question, you don't need to. Marble lenses have been carefully crafted by Zeiss to ensure fogging is minimal. No one wants to fish in 360p.
